Welcome to the geeky universe of Martin Toft. Try reloading the site a couple
of times.
Contrary to what you might think, I actually like the look of this website.
Also, I consider it overkill to use a wiki or a content management system for a
small, static site like thisa combination of XHTML, CSS and a few drops
of PHP works like a charm. You do not need a web interface for editing when you
have a terminal, an SSH client and Vim. Yes, I have added this text because my
geeky friends keep nagging me about the site's look and (lack of fancy)
technology :-)
Just watch them run when the next {dokuwiki, WordPress, TYPO3, Drupal, ...}
vulnerability is disclosed...
Random, enlightening quote hand-picked by yours truly:
Optimizations always bust things, because all optimizations are, in the long haul, a form of cheating, and cheaters eventually get caught.
- Larry Wall.
